I have 10+ years of counseling experience that has been gained in inpatient, outpatient, and school-based settings. In my years of counseling, my work has centered around adults, adolescents, addiction, depression, anxiety, couples, family systems, and more. I am passionate about helping others and helping them reach their goals. I use a strength-based approach to working with clients, goal setting, and numerous counseling techniques. I’m Amiesha (Miesha), I am a Licensed Social Worker. I hold a Master’s in Social Work and a Master’s in Christian Counseling. I’m also a wife, mother of two, and proud grandmother. My life roles have deeply shaped the way I show up for my clients—with compassion, understanding, and real-world perspective.
Much of what I bring into the therapy space is grounded in both my clinical training and lived experience. I believe healing happens when people feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment.
I work with individuals ages 18 and up who are navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and spiritual concerns. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps clients process and heal from trauma, distressing experiences, and deeply rooted patterns.
My approach is strength-based and collaborative. I work alongside my clients to help them build insight, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward lasting change.
I truly believe that growth is possible for everyone. Life can be unpredictable, and at times overwhelming, but with the right support, healing and transformation can happen. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered to move forward.

I love to learn and consider myself a lifelong learner. It is no surprise that my favorite thing to learn and explore is people! I have an empathetic, understanding heart that I have decided to use to help others. In my personal life, you can find me doing things in the musical and artistic realm, along with anything animal- and wildlife-related! I also love thrifting/antiquing and traveling the world.
